Guinness World Records
One of the promising milestones of our achievements was the Guinness World Record in 2018. The primary theme of the event was ‘Naalai Namadhe - Be the Change’ illustrating discrete thoughts about the most anticipated and desperate changes for the improvisation of our society. On 10 April 2019, in an effort conducive to the frequency of our Community Radio - 107.8 MHz, we successfully marked the continuous broadcast of 108 minutes on the incentives of 108 Radio Jockeys of our club. The significant background for the complete show performance was based on the dream of our beloved former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam about ‘Vision India 2020’. We are greatly honoured to have successfully pronounced this Guinness World Record. The integral collaboration of propositions and hard work from the student community, teachers and the management was the supporting ground for the entire agenda of the event. The intent of the record was to inculcate rational thoughts, changes through action and broadcasting of shows is the driving force for all the ongoing events of the club. The language of articulation for the recorded performance was an admixture of both English and Tamil. The entire broadcast was featured with its corresponding English subtitles to the narrating content for an effective impact and greater reach.
